Endowment Capital Group, a hedge fund serving institutional clients such as foundations and endowments, needed a more robust, supported research management system after its custom in‑house solution became costly and difficult to maintain. The firm selected SS&C Advent’s Tamale RMS to replace its proprietary platform and support a concentrated, research‑intensive investment process focused on deep due diligence.

SS&C Advent migrated the firm’s legacy data—including roughly 20,000 notes spanning five and a half years—into Tamale RMS and integrated the platform with Outlook, Word, Excel and market data feeds for real‑time pricing and fundamentals. Configurable templates and dashboards cut client/prospect entry from five–six steps to a single streamlined workflow, improved efficiency across research and investor relations, and made it easy for Endowment Capital Group to demonstrate its disciplined process to prospective investors.
