Disciplined Growth Investors, an employee‑owned RIA managing $5.8 billion, needed a more integrated way to combine portfolio management, client relationship management and reporting while handling an increasing volume of client trading restrictions — all without sacrificing the high‑touch service that defines the firm. To address these challenges they partnered with SS&C Advent and adopted Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) alongside Moxy and Advent Rules Manager.

SS&C Advent implemented APX with dashboards, recurring tasks and automated report generation, and integrated Moxy and Advent Rules Manager for trade order management and compliance. The result: faster, more accurate month‑end and quarter‑end workflows (month‑end moved from the third/fourth business day to the first day; quarter‑end shortened from five days to three), fewer reporting errors, improved client service through centralized client intelligence, and clearer, automated handling of complex trading restrictions.
