Caceis, the asset servicing arm of Crédit Agricole and a hedge fund administrator, faced slow, error-prone corporate action processing because each fund accountant manually updated portfolios. To gain timeliness, consistency and straight-through processing, Caceis selected SS&C Advent’s Advent Corporate Actions (ACA) service, tightly integrated with the Geneva portfolio management system.

SS&C Advent implemented ACA with Geneva Workflow Manager to automate corporate action feeds, cross‑reference securities, auto‑build transactions and deliver customizable alerts and reports. As a result Caceis eliminated manual booking and data errors, can process corporate actions as of the market effective date, and now handles more transactions with fewer staff—improving speed, accuracy and back‑office efficiency.
