Ativo Capital Management, a Chicago-based institutional asset manager with about $2 billion AUM (more than 80% invested outside the U.S.), had outgrown its prior portfolio system and needed stronger multi-currency accounting, GIPS‑compliant performance measurement and highly customizable reporting while keeping a lean technology footprint and small operations team.
