Allegro Kapitalforvaltning, a Trondheim-based asset manager with NOK 2.6 billion AUM, needed scalable portfolio accounting, stronger user-access controls and a way to stay current with evolving regulations while managing roughly 2,000 client accounts with a small team. To meet those challenges the firm has relied on SS&C Advent, initially using Axys and later upgrading to Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) and Moxy for trade order management and portfolio modeling.

SS&C Advent implemented the latest releases of APX and Moxy, including Moxy’s Portfolio Manager, and Allegro moved reconciliation into Moxy before posting to APX. Upgrades were completed in roughly two work days, yielding clearer audit trails and tighter access control for compliance, more efficient reconciliation and the ability to run 2,000 portfolios with just ten people—avoiding new hires and offering the potential to scale to roughly ten times as many clients.
