Grocery Franchise Saves Money and Improves Onboarding with GlobalSearch®

Kenny Family ShopRites of Delaware, a major Wakefern-owned supermarket franchise that recently opened a 73,000 sq. ft. store and hired over 200 employees, faced a paper‑heavy onboarding and records-retention challenge: new hires completed 20‑page packets and HR and accounting files were stored in basements and closets, creating storage, compliance and time‑management problems. To address this, the customer turned to Square 9 Softworks and its GlobalSearch Enterprise Content Management suite (with GlobalForms eForms).

Square 9 Softworks implemented GlobalSearch and GlobalForms across HR and Accounting to scan, index and digitally retain records; the co-op has stored over 30,000 documents, cleared an entire basement of file boxes, and automated routing of new‑hire packets to reduce paper, save labor hours and speed retrieval. The solution improved productivity, freed physical storage, supported legal retention policies, and Square 9 Softworks continues to expand the rollout into Loss Prevention and Pharmacy for further gains.
