Nitrio, a sales intelligence company, needed a faster and more accurate way to analyze inbound emails and rep-to-lead conversations so it could classify sentiment, surface sales insights, and keep manual review costs under control. As its rule-based NLP system scaled, performance became a bottleneck and messages that could not be classified had to be outsourced for manual processing. Squadex stepped in to help modernize the platform.

Squadex built a TensorFlow-based machine learning pipeline to augment Nitrio’s regex and heuristic rules, automating data annotation, training, evaluation, and message routing through AWS services like EC2, S3, SQS, RDS, and CloudWatch. The new platform increased daily throughput by 50%, reduced manual work 5x, and cut operating costs by 20%, allowing Nitrio to process more messages, improve sales rep coaching, and scale customer onboarding more efficiently.
