This legacy architecture caused scalability issues, hindered operational agility, and made it difficult to manage, preventing the company from deploying changes quickly.
The solution involved Squadex redesigning, Dockerizing, and deploying all legacy applications onto Amazon ECS. This standardized microservices infrastructure allowed Figure Eight to decompose its monolith into over 50 independent services. As a result, Squadex enabled the platform to achieve 99.99% uptime, scale horizontally, and radically reduce the time to deliver a new microservice to just one day.
