AIS Improves Customer Service and Network Operations with SQream DB

AIS, Thailand’s leading mobile network operator with over 40 million subscribers, needed fast, cost‑effective access to massive, siloed data to deliver personalized customer experiences and better network management. To solve this Big Data challenge, AIS worked with SQream and deployed SQream DB to enable business intelligence teams to analyze billions of records for actionable insights.

SQream implemented a Smart Benchmarking Dashboard powered by GPU acceleration that joins and analyzes billions of records in seconds, feeding fast‑updating Tableau and SpotFire dashboards. The SQream solution cut a complex Speed Test query from about one hour to under 50 seconds, made network monitoring over 10× faster, and achieved these gains cost‑efficiently using only a few NVIDIA Tesla GPU servers while reducing IT overhead and improving customer service and network operations.
