Case Study: Super Shoes reduces order fulfillment from 2-3 weeks to 3-5 days with SPS Commerce

A SPS Commerce Case Study

Preview of the Super Shoes Case Study

Super Shoes - Customer Case Study

Super Shoes is a 45‑store footwear retailer (plus supershoestogo.com) selling products from more than 300 vendors and serving both consumers and B2B customers with specialized ordering and direct billing. The company faced supply‑chain challenges including fragmented item data, no integrated EDI with a new retail system, slow order fulfillment (2–3 weeks), and the need to onboard and coordinate a large number of vendors.

Partnering with SPS Commerce, Super Shoes adopted vendor enablement, a Universal Catalog and cloud‑based EDI integrated into its retail system—scaling from an initial 40 EDI vendors to 100+ trading partners exchanging multiple document types. As a result, order cycle time fell to 3–5 days, shelf availability and delivery visibility improved via ASNs, and the retailer is now positioned to expand vendor collaboration with scorecards and shared analytics.
