Lyons Industries, a Dowagiac, MI supplier that ships more than 1,000 bathtubs and showers daily to retailers like Home Depot, Lowe’s and Menards, struggled with a manual EDI process that required single-user logins, manual order entry, label printing and invoice reconciliation. As order volume grew, these manual steps caused delays, errors and operational bottlenecks that hindered growth.

In 2015 Lyons implemented SPS Commerce Fulfillment, a full-service EDI solution integrated with their Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) ERP, giving each user individual access and direct order integration. The automated system now connects Lyons to 11 retailers and a 3PL, eliminating manual purchase orders, reducing errors, speeding fulfillment, lowering costs and freeing staff to focus on sales, customer service and product innovation.
