Hyland’s, a longtime maker of homeopathic medicines, was facing rapid retail and e-commerce demand that outpaced its legacy EDI software and manual processes. With three staff spending hours on duplicate data entry and onboarding more than 65 trading partners, the company risked missing retailer shipping windows and losing business.

Hyland’s integrated its Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP with SPS Commerce Fulfillment (with implementation support from Western Computer) to automate EDI 850/810/856 and later 940/945 transactions and UCC labeling. The move enabled retailer-compliant fulfillment, sped new-customer onboarding to days, improved vendor scorecard performance, and freed more than 180 staff hours per month—about $45,000 in annual savings.
