Ecentria, parent company of retailers like Camp Saver and Optics Planet, needed a better way to manage growing complexity across brands, SKUs, and suppliers. As the business expanded, its proprietary eBusiness platform and direct supplier integrations could not provide enough data or automation, and custom integrations were consuming valuable IT resources. Ecentria partnered with SPS Commerce to improve supply chain connectivity and automate supplier processes.
SPS Commerce implemented automated data exchange for inventory, orders, order changes, shipping notices, and invoices, while onboarding more than 250 suppliers and supporting over 500,000 wholesale and drop-ship orders. The results included better inventory visibility, improved forecasting and warehouse planning, faster invoicing and supplier payments, reduced manual work, and lower costs. SPS Commerce also helped Ecentria improve customer service and employee experience by replacing manual tasks with a consistent automated process.
