How GNC Improved collaboration with vendors and retail partners to drive mutual sales and productivity gains through a partnership with SPS Commerce

GNC, a health and wellness retailer with a complex supply chain spanning vendors, retail partners and eCommerce, needed to replace manual paperwork and data exchange with a more efficient process. Before working with SPS Commerce, delays and data errors made it harder to keep products moving quickly and accurately through distribution, especially with expiration-sensitive inventory and the need for reliable ASNs and invoices.

SPS Commerce implemented automated EDI and a shared platform for sales and inventory data, helping GNC onboard vendors, simplify fulfillment processes and improve reporting across its network. As a result, GNC reached nearly 95% EDI adoption and 95% ASN accuracy, while vendors using the SPS Commerce platform saw a 16% increase in product sell-through versus non-SPS vendors.
