Case Study: Caprice achieves rapid supply chain consolidation and reduced overheads with SPS Commerce

A SPS Commerce Case Study

Preview of the Caprice Case Study

Caprice - Customer Case Study

Caprice, a 50‑year‑old Australian homewares supplier, acquired AAA Fabrics in 2008 and faced the urgent challenge of operating two different electronic supply‑chain systems across a complex global trading network. Keeping both systems running during the transition risked higher costs, duplicated processes and business disruption.

SPS Commerce consolidated AAA’s and Caprice’s systems onto Caprice’s AS400 Trusted i‑Series platform, integrating ordering and fulfilment messaging. The work was completed in under nine weeks, delivering a single technology platform, reduced overheads, one customer service and ordering team, one warehouse and minimal disruption—allowing AAA to quickly operate under Caprice’s systems and streamlining trading‑partner coordination.
