2XU Analytics with SPS Utilizes the Power of Point of Sale Data to Double Sell-Through Rates

2XU, a Melbourne-based performance sports apparel maker with growing U.S. operations and two domestic stores, faced challenges tailoring assortments for North American customers as it expanded beyond Australia. With wholesale roots and limited U.S. POS visibility, the company was shipping Australia-driven assortments that didn’t reflect regional preferences, complicating omnichannel growth and supply-chain planning.

After adopting SPS Enterprise Analytics in 2014, 2XU used detailed U.S. POS data to redesign styles and color assortments over an 18-month process, improving forecasting for 30/60/90-day horizons and enabling closer retailer collaboration. The changes more than doubled weekly sell-through to about 5% and grew the revised item to 25% of the U.S. running segment (up from 9%), yielding more regionally appropriate assortments and a more efficient supply chain.
