The B2B commerce solution that aims to fix Mexico’s grocery supply

Mercado Mayco, a 30‑year‑old company serving Mexico’s small corner stores (tienditas), faced inefficient, pen‑and‑paper supply chains that left shop owners spending time and money on restocking. To digitize B2B ordering for these cash‑based, low‑infrastructure businesses, Mercado Mayco partnered with Spryker to build Dupplo, a simple mobile commerce solution tailored to the needs of family‑run tienditas.

Dupplo, powered by Spryker, launched in November 2021 and provides an online store with cash‑on‑delivery, delivery window selection, driver tools and bulk‑discount alerts; it was rolled out after a six‑month build. The solution has already reached 6,300+ stores, reduced personnel and transportation costs for vendors, preserved cash workflows, and set targets of 300,000+ yearly B2B orders by 2025 and 50% of Mercado Mayco’s revenue via Dupplo, demonstrating measurable progress in modernizing Mexico’s grocery supply.
