ROSE Bikes, a long-standing cycling retailer known for customer-oriented service and product individuality, needed more than a standard e‑commerce shop to convey its mix of technology, emotion and customization while staying competitive. To gain technology ownership, speed up processes and reduce cart abandonment, ROSE Bikes partnered with Spryker and adopted Spryker Commerce OS for a focused, company-wide digital transformation and lean MVP relaunch.
Spryker implemented a solution on Spryker Commerce OS that included a configurable bike builder, enhanced product attributes and tags, Elasticsearch-powered search, email gift vouchers and the Spryker Discount Engine for promotions. The result: site speed increased many times over, usability improved, shopping-cart abandonment fell significantly, and ROSE Bikes now has greater control to run targeted promotions and expand its configurator.
