JUMBO, the Swiss DIY pioneer, faced the challenge of presenting a very complex product range across seamless online and offline channels while delivering a consistent brand experience and high performance. Standard commerce platforms could not meet their need for flexibility and individualization, so JUMBO selected Spryker Commerce OS to enable a decoupled front-end/back-end architecture and support omnichannel features like Click & Collect and Click & Surf.
Using Spryker, JUMBO built an omnichannel platform with unified pricing, a CMS for inspirational content, and integrations to 20+ interfaces (including Contentserv, Fact Finder and multiple SAP systems). The Spryker solution keeps product data in the backend for fast frontend performance, manages 25,000+ products in PIM with a target of 50,000+, ingests files from around 400 suppliers, and has helped JUMBO exceed sales targets and drive measurable revenue growth.
