Globus Hypermarket Holding, a German family-owned hypermarket operator, faced a sudden partner insolvency during the COVID lockdown that threatened its Click & Collect pickup service. To restore and future-proof this strategic channel quickly, Globus selected Spryker and its Spryker Cloud Commerce OS as the new commerce technology to meet an urgent two‑week time‑to‑market requirement.
Working with solution partner KPS, Spryker delivered a Click & Collect solution in just 14 days by leveraging out-of-the-box features (time‑slot management, automated emails, picking app basics), achieving nearly 100% of the prior solution’s performance at go‑live. The rapid relaunch now supports Globus’s expanding e‑food ambitions (13,000+ items, 4 locations, 50+ items per order) and gives the retailer the flexibility, speed and control to iterate faster and remain a digital innovation leader.
