Creating a Patient Experience Beyond Commerce

Siemens Healthineers, a global medical technology company driving the SENSE mission to put patients at the center, faced a fragmented, monolithic commerce landscape that hindered a harmonized onsite‑to‑online patient journey. Spryker implemented Spryker Cloud Commerce OS, a modular, API‑driven platform that integrated with ServiceNow, Microsoft, Genesys and others to create a 360° commerce experience; Spryker met over 90% of Siemens Healthineers’ complex use cases and enabled the first spare‑parts shop MVP in Brazil in under three months. The solution moved Siemens Healthineers beyond a simple web shop to an end‑to‑end transactional foundation—accelerating time‑to‑market, supporting future marketplace and remote MRI (WeScan) initiatives, and demonstrating clear operational velocity and business value.
