Spinx Convenience Stores used Sprockets’ hiring platform to help improve employee retention during a labor shortage. Although Spinx already had an assessment tool in place, the company was still struggling to stabilize staffing levels while continuing its expansion across South Carolina.

Sprockets’ Applicant Matching System created location-specific success profiles and fit scores to help Spinx identify applicants likely to succeed and stay beyond 90 days. In a pilot across 20 locations, Sprockets helped deliver $31,200 in 90-day savings, $124,800 in annualized savings, and a 16% increase in 90-day retention versus the previous solution; after the test, Spinx rolled the platform out to all 83 locations, with annualized savings reaching $504,400.
