City of Texarkana Rebuilds with Springbrook Cloud After Devastating Cyberattack

City of Texarkana, Texas suffered a devastating ransomware attack in late 2020 that destroyed its core financial and payroll systems. The city engaged Springbrook and chose to rebuild on the Springbrook Cirrus Cloud Platform to restore operations with a more secure, familiar solution and strong support.

Springbrook helped migrate modules including payroll, AP, AR, general ledger, HR, cash receipts, bank reconciliation, permits and more by reconstructing records from scheduled reports and imports; payroll went live in April 2021. The Springbrook cloud delivered enterprise-level security, hands-on support and remote access (used during COVID-19 and a February 2021 snowstorm), enabling Texarkana to resume operations and progressively restore historical financial data.
