Detroit Institute of Arts takes to the cloud energizing retail growth and productivity

Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) needed to modernize its retail operations after becoming independent from the City of Detroit, with an urgent need to update point of sale, inventory, and e-commerce systems. The museum wanted to improve revenue in its retail department while reducing expenses, streamlining processes, and cutting manual work. Springboard Retail was selected to support this transition.

Springboard Retail implemented a modern, cloud-based POS and retail management platform for the DIA, including e-commerce inventory communication and real-time operational tools. The solution helped the team count inventory in one place with one button, reduce a 30+ minute gift store process, and improve training and accountability. As a result, the DIA gained greater efficiency and productivity, spent more time growing the business and revenue, and became more responsive and technologically current.
