WellStar Health System, one of Georgia’s largest integrated health providers, needed a better way to support the mental wellbeing of its nurses and frontline healthcare workers, who face intense emotional and physical demands. Spring Health helped WellStar expand therapy and coaching access from 6 to 12 sessions, and the added support quickly drove a 37% increase in enrollment within 2.5 months. Since partnering with Spring Health, WellStar also reported a 600% increase in utilization versus its previous EAP, an 8% reduction in health plan spending for engaged employees, a 79% improvement in depression symptoms after three sessions, and $4.30 in savings for every $1 invested.
