Greetabl is a St. Louis startup that creates personalized, Instagram-photo-based gift boxes. As demand grew, the founders needed a scalable, automated ecommerce and fulfillment platform to support a complex workflow—custom product building, multi-recipient orders and outsourced print-and-ship integration. B/C Designers handled the brand and UX while Greetabl chose Spark Solutions as the remote development partner to deliver the technical implementation.

Spark built a custom Spree Commerce solution on Ruby on Rails with a React single-page product builder, bespoke checkout, ElasticSearch-powered search, and a custom fulfillment integration. The MVP launched in 22 weeks, automating order processing, improving mobile UX, adding admin, gift-card and rewards features, and enabling Greetabl to scale, fundraise and increase market share in time for the holiday season.
