Topgolf, the rapidly expanding golf-entertainment brand with more than 25 locations planned by the end of 2016, needed a scalable social strategy to support local Marketing Managers, improve guest care workflows, and monitor conversations around announcements, events, feedback and user-generated content.
Partnering with Spredfast, Topgolf trained 19 local Marketing Managers in under two weeks and used the platform to manage the Las Vegas announcement and ongoing local engagement. The campaign drove 70% share of voice for the announcement, a 744% increase in retweets and a 540% increase in favorites versus average that day, more than 102,000 outgoing activities in 90 days, and 8,500+ shares using #ilovetopgolf—while enabling geo-targeted views, social walls and sponsor activation.
