Jive Software, a leading social business platform, wanted to reposition itself in 2012 as a SaaS solution for teams and shift its sales focus from senior executives to managers of highly collaborative teams. To do that it needed a campaign to raise awareness of Jive for Teams, expand reach, and increase social engagement with this new audience.
Spredfast Services used social-data analysis to develop the persona-driven "Office Hero" campaign—an interactive social experience combining paid, earned and owned content, promoted ads, a custom Facebook app, and analytics-driven optimization. In six weeks the campaign drove 2.7 million impressions, grew Facebook fans by 150% and Twitter followers by 12%, raised Facebook engagement from 5.9% to 45%, and saw promoted social content outperform email by 43% and traditional advertising by 170–190%.
