A SPREAD Case Study
The customer, a premium automotive OEM, faced a significant challenge in its R&D program management. Its weekly program review meetings, which convened 30 to 60 module owners, had become inefficient status-collection exercises rather than productive decision-making sessions, consuming an estimated 60-100 collective person-hours per week. SPREAD was engaged to apply its Product Twin technology, already live on the production line, to this new problem.
SPREAD implemented a second surface of its existing Product Twin to create a live module-readiness dashboard for the weekly reviews. This solution fused data from four engineering sources to automatically surface which modules needed decisions, shifting the meeting's focus from collecting status to taking action. The pilot successfully compressed the review process, saving the collective preparation time and enabling more effective governance of the new electric architecture program.
