The customer, a premium automotive OEM, faced a significant challenge during the ramp-up of its new electric vehicle architecture. The complexity of these vehicles led to diagnostic errors that historically required the attention of senior engineers, creating a bottleneck and backlog at the rework stations in its Central-European plant. SPREAD implemented its Production Inspector service to address this scaling issue.

SPREAD's solution created a VIN-specific Product Twin that consolidates data from four separate systems, which rework operators access by simply scanning a vehicle's VIN. This allows technicians to resolve common errors themselves, drastically reducing escalations to senior engineers. The results were so impactful that the customer expanded the deployment to an adjacent plant in May 2026, with more plants planned, demonstrating a measurable shift in operational efficiency and knowledge access.
