A SPREAD Case Study
The customer, a European missile-systems prime, faced the challenge of compartmentalized defense engineering data. Their bid engineers needed to scope new variants but were hindered by non-uniform classifications across four national jurisdictions, which restricted access to prior-program data and made finding validated solutions a slow, manual process. SPREAD deployed its Requirements Manager, an on-premise knowledge graph, to address this.
SPREAD's solution was an on-premise knowledge graph that ingested historical data while strictly respecting all access-clearance levels. The graph allowed engineers to query from their specific clearance level, returning candidate solutions with attached confidence scores and access-clearance states. This shifted the engineer's role from searching for days to evaluating matches in seconds, accelerating development with confidence and enabling earlier error detection.
