Watpac Group partnered with Spotless Group on the North Queensland Stadium project in Queensland, Australia, facing the challenge of delivering reliable hospitality and venue services for a new 25,000-seat stadium ahead of the 2020 NRL season. The scope included catering and hospitality, along with air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical services.

Spotless Group implemented a five-year catering contract through its Spotless brand, providing hot and cold food and beverage services across outlets, corporate suites and bars, while AE Smith, part of Spotless Group, handled the air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical delivery for Stage 2 of construction. The partnership supported a $250 million project employing more than 2,000 people and extended Spotless Group’s long-standing presence in the Townsville community with local subcontractors and food partners.
