The University of Melbourne needed a long-term facilities management partner for Melbourne Connect, its new purpose-built innovation precinct in Carlton, Victoria. Spotless Group was engaged to support the project, which was being delivered with a consortium led by Lendlease/GIC/Urbanest and designed to bring together researchers, partners, students, and innovation-focused tenants.

Spotless Group is providing facilities management for the precinct over a 42-year period, helping enable a mixed-use environment that includes commercial space, student accommodation, retail, public areas, childcare, and Science Gallery Melbourne. The solution supports the precinct’s goal of fostering collaboration and innovation through tenant curation, relationship services, and a vibrant events program, with the expected result of generating economic, environmental, and social benefits.
