Royal Hobart Hospital, working through managing contractor John Holland Fairbrother Joint Venture, needed major mechanical services for its ambitious redevelopment and renewal project in Tasmania. Spotless Group, through its mechanical contracting division AE Smith, was engaged to support the hospital’s largest infrastructure upgrade in its 207-year history.

Spotless Group delivered the mechanical services package, covering air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical works for the Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment Project. The solution helped enable a new women’s and children’s precinct, 566 additional beds, and eight procedure rooms, while also supporting substantial infrastructure renewal across the hospital.
