NZ Department of Corrections, the government agency responsible for prisons and probation services across New Zealand, needed reliable facilities management across a large and complex portfolio of correctional sites and office buildings. Spotless Group provided the facilities maintenance service, supporting operations at a scale that included head office buildings, prisons, and community probation facilities.

Spotless Group has delivered facilities maintenance to NZ Department of Corrections since 2010, and in 2013 the contract expanded to include the Ministry of Justice. The arrangement was renewed through June 2018, covering the majority of prisons and correctional facilities in New Zealand, including four head office buildings, 20 prisons, and 50 Community Probation Services facilities.
