McElligotts, based in Victoria, Australia, needed a more sustainable way to reduce energy costs across its sites. Spotless Group, through Nuvo Group, was engaged to provide solar generation support as part of the company’s generation and maintenance agreement, with a focus on photovoltaic (PV) solar systems.

Spotless Group designed and installed an 88kW PV system at Laverton and a 100kW PV system at Mackay. The solution delivered a 64% annual energy cost saving at Laverton and a 34.1% saving at Mackay, with both sites achieving positive cash flow from day one, helping McElligotts lower costs and improve sustainability.
