International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), a major 250,000-square-metre venue in Darling Harbour, needed a partner to help manage the complex operations of its convention, exhibition and theatre facilities while keeping sustainability at the centre of day-to-day performance. Spotless Group was engaged to provide asset maintenance and management, cleaning, facilities management and sustainability services across the site.

Spotless Group implemented comprehensive facility and asset management, including hard FM, repairs, high-level cleaning, grounds and horticulture, art conservation and utilities management. The team also supported energy efficiency through detailed carbon reporting, maintenance of the venue’s 520-kilowatt solar array, and a climate-control program with Sydney University to optimize thermal comfort and energy use. As a result, ICC Sydney has achieved strong sustainability and innovation recognition, including top prize for Australia’s best infrastructure project and multiple industry awards for design, sustainability and excellence.
