Lucardi, the largest jewelry chain in the Netherlands, partnered with marketing agency Clever Strategy and the vendor Spotler. Their challenge was predicting customer purchases and moving from generic communication to personalized marketing. Their extensive product range and the fact that jewelry is often a gift made it difficult to segment visitors and serve them relevant content at scale.
Spotler implemented its Activate platform to design automated, personalized customer journeys based on purchase phases and RFM segmentation. A key solution was a new cart abandonment journey that emails customers just two hours after they leave. This strategy delivered outstanding results for Lucardi, including a 323% increase in transactions from cart abandonment emails and a 36% higher overall conversion rate. Spotler's technology enabled more efficient use of the marketing budget and significantly improved customer engagement.
