Express Wear, a Dutch fashion retailer with stores near Arnhem and Nijmegen and an online webshop, wanted to optimise its onsite search to help customers find products faster and boost sales. In November 2018 they partnered with Spotler to implement Activate Search (with support from partner Happy Idiots) to address this challenge.

Spotler’s Activate Search was quick to implement and easy for non-technical marketers to use; features like Ranking Rules and synonyms let Express Wear prioritise high-margin, in-stock items and minimise no-result queries. After the change, Spotler helped Express Wear increase conversion rate within search by 33.4%, lift average order value by 7.2%, raise time on page by 1.07 minutes, and grow pageviews from search by 113%, significantly improving the onsite user experience.
