Enertel, a provider of tools and strategic advice for the oil and gas industry, needed to help its clients reduce the high financial risk of making seven-figure investment mistakes. To address this, they implemented TIBCO Spotfire software to gain insights from disparate geospatial and production datasets.

Using TIBCO Spotfire as a foundation, Enertel built a custom solution called Quantum. This tool leverages machine learning and analytics to screen, evaluate, and model upstream assets in minutes instead of days. The TIBCO solution enabled the analysis of over 30,000 wells, which led to a new approach that prevents clients from making multi-million dollar drilling mistakes and drives significant efficiency.
