CAF achieves digital transformation of predictive train maintenance

CAF, a manufacturer and maintainer of trains, sought to digitally transform its predictive maintenance services to optimize fleet operations and reduce lifecycle costs for its global railway customers amid increasing market competition. To meet this challenge, they partnered with vendor Spotfire to build their LeadMind digital platform.

Using Spotfire software on an AWS cloud foundation, CAF developed the LeadMind platform to provide real-time analytics and predictive maintenance. The solution delivered significant results, including a 152% extended lifecycle for train components, and has been used in over 30 projects across 12 countries, helping CAF secure major contracts and provide its customers with massive cost savings.
