Case Study: Big Rapids Area Junior Hockey Association achieves a mobile-friendly website and unified team communication with SportsEngine

SportsEngine mobile app quickly becomes hockey club’s favorite tool

Krysti Kidder, volunteer secretary for Big Rapids Area Junior Hockey Association in Michigan (about 100 athletes and dozens of coaches and managers), struggled with a poorly designed, non–mobile-friendly website that families wouldn’t use, making it difficult to share schedules and messages. The association partnered with SportsEngine, using SportsEngine Sitebuilder and the free SportsEngine mobile app to address those communication gaps.

SportsEngine built a new custom, mobile-friendly site and rolled out the free app, which coaches, parents, athletes and even grandparents now use to view schedules, track scores and send messages.
