Faced with a large, unstructured product database and growing demand for transparency and personalization, Tesco needed better dietary search and filtering across its web and app channels.

Spoon Guru enriched Tesco’s product data with 100+ dietary attributes using Product TAGs®, powering search and filter results for allergen, health, and lifestyle needs. Since implementation, Tesco has expanded visible vegan products from 162 to 16,000+ and gluten-free products from 327 to 24,000+, while basket conversion from major dietary searches has increased by up to 500% and revenue from dietary-related free text searches has risen 10%.
