Their software was configured to the council’s standards and used to systematically collect, process, and enrich asset data. This enabled advanced analytics and reporting, which SPM Assets supported. The results were substantial, with Wellington City Council reducing its infrastructure renewal spend by approximately $100 million in its long-term plan. The council now has a clear, evidence-based 30-year infrastructure plan and a solid foundation for its ongoing Building Information Modeling project.
