The NZ Historic Places Trust, the national historic heritage agency for New Zealand, sought to improve the long-term management of its 150 unique heritage sites. They required a solution to develop an accurate asset register and a maintenance plan that captured the specific needs of these historical treasures.

SPM Assets configured its software to meet the Trust's specialized requirements, enabling the collection, analysis, and reporting of crucial asset information. They also provided training to implement a standardized survey process. As a result, the Trust has begun surveying its properties, starting with two historic houses, and is becoming more self-sufficient and effective in its preservation role, with improved confidence in its planning decisions.
