A Splunk Case Study
Rise Against Hunger is an international humanitarian nonprofit that delivers food and aid to vulnerable communities — reaching nearly 800,000 people and distributing tens of millions of meals in a year. The organization struggled with fragmented data across 180+ systems, the need for a reliable electronic volunteer registration, regulatory and donor-data compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and the ability to track millions of packaged meals and their beneficiaries on a global scale.
Through a partnership with Splunk (Splunk for Good), Rise Against Hunger deployed Splunk Enterprise to consolidate disparate data sources, support electronic registration, enable RFID-style tracking of meals, and improve compliance reporting. The solution delivered unified visibility across IT systems, clearer regulatory compliance, supply-chain tracing from packaging to beneficiary, and actionable insights that help optimize operations and advance the organization’s mission.
