Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a global hospitality company with more than 700 properties in over 50 countries, needed a centralized way to monitor and troubleshoot servers and applications that support guest services like online check‑in. Developers were spending hours logging into individual servers to search logs, making it hard to tell whether issues were local or widespread and negatively impacting customer experience and release monitoring.

Hyatt deployed Splunk Enterprise and the Splunk Machine Learning Toolkit (and is rolling out Splunk Enterprise Security) to centralize logs and analytics from web servers, Jenkins, JIRA, ServiceNow and other sources, expanding use from a dozen to 100+ daily users. The result: real‑time dashboards and alerts, mean time to resolution reduced from hours to real time, increased developer productivity, improved application delivery and a better guest experience.
