Wargaming’s World of Warships Legends wanted to improve app store screenshot conversion rates during soft launch across Brazil, the Philippines, Canada, and France. To capture more downloads in these different markets, they partnered with SplitMetrics Agency and used SplitMetrics Optimize to test and refine their visual assets for the App Store and Google Play.
SplitMetrics Agency ran A/B tests on seasonal screenshot concepts tailored to each region, including winter and Christmas-themed creatives with local details. The updated visuals lifted iOS conversion rates in Canada by 31.45%, the Philippines by 9.61%, and France by 3.44%, while Brazil saw a slight decline on iOS but a 6.68% increase on Google Play. Overall, Wargaming increased organic conversions by an average of 15% on iOS across the tested storefronts.
