St. Joseph’s School for the Deaf Increases Security and Expands Remote Support

St. Joseph’s Indian School partnered with Splashtop when the pandemic forced a rapid shift to remote learning and the school’s small IT team needed an affordable way to support students, staff, and campus devices from a distance. With a tight budget and hundreds of laptops, tablets, and Chromebooks to manage, the team needed a simple remote support solution that could keep everyone connected and help maintain security.

Using Splashtop SOS and later upgrading to Splashtop Enterprise, St. Joseph’s IT staff gained remote support, device management, session logs, and user grouping tools to support more than 300 devices. Splashtop also helped them monitor security cameras and improve cybersecurity, while saving enough on support costs to buy more student devices; the school described the product as a “knight in shining armor” and said it enabled two IT staff members to support 300+ devices efficiently.
