How S.J. Pockmire Uses Splashtop to Work from Home and Stay Productive

The Moore County Historical Association, a nonprofit in North Carolina dedicated to preserving local history, needed a way for volunteer S.J. Pockmire to work efficiently from home instead of traveling to the 200-year-old Shaw House. After trying other remote access tools, she was looking for a more reliable, Mac-friendly solution to access files and complete design and document requests remotely using Splashtop Business Access.

With Splashtop Business Access, Pockmire could transfer files, design soap labels from home, and then print them on an association computer when needed, greatly reducing time spent on-site. Splashtop helped her stay productive and support Vintage Soapworks’ production of 43,000 bars of soap annually, while also freeing up more time for the association’s broader preservation work and future projects.
